We live in an extraordinary and generous community and at the Bedford Community Foundation we witness examples of giving each year.

The Bedford Community Foundation is celebrating a major milestone: more than $64,000 in grants was awarded this fiscal year. Those grants were made up of college scholarships, medical aid and research, community culture development and youth leadership development.

The Bedford Community Foundation was established in 1991 to build a better community through vision, leadership and philanthropy. The BCF is enhanced through its community funds and projects such as the Heart of Hope, Bedford Heart Heroes and the Bedford Environmental Fund.

The Foundation has two new funds BSP Cares “Bedford Students Protected through Combining Area Resources for Educational Safety” and Breaking Barriers Fund. To learn more about these funds or any of the BCF funds call us at 734-854-1722 or visit our website www.bedfordcommuityfoundation.com.

We want to thank our BCF friends and the entire community for supporting your neighbors in Bedford.
